Collegiate Athletic Eligibility
School counselors are willing to advise students on athletic eligibility, but ultimately, it is the responsibility of the student and family to ensure the student meets all eligibility requirements. Please visit the websites below for additional information.
NCAA Eligibility Center
To be eligible for NCAA Division I or II college athletics, a student must register with the NCAA Eligibility Center. It is the student/parent's responsibility to be sure that all requirements are met. Please refer to www.eligibilitycenter.org for more information. Students and parents should meet with their counselor and coach to discuss eligibility requirements beginning in the sophomore year. Course checks should also be made during the junior year and before scheduling for the senior year. Please be aware that the NCAA has updated its eligibility requirements beginning in Fall 2016.
NAIA Eligibility Center
To be eligible to play college athletics at an NAIA-sanctioned school, a student must register with the NAIA Eligibility Center.
